Privacy Policy

Petty is built to keep your pettiness private. This policy explains, plainly, what the Petty app does and doesn’t do with your information.

Anonymous by design

Petty works the moment you pick your personas. No account, email, phone number, or sign-in is required to use the app, and we don’t ask for your real name.

Your reflections stay on your phone

Everything you write in the reflection journal — your receipts, notes, and reflections — is stored only on your device. It is never uploaded, synced to us, or seen by us.

The Petty Coach & drafted replies

When you chat with the Petty Coach or draft a reply, your message is sent to our AI provider solely to generate a response in the moment. It is not stored long-term, not linked to you, and not used to train models.

What we don’t do

  • We do not sell your data.
  • We do not use advertising identifiers or ad tracking.
  • Any analytics, if enabled, are aggregate and non-identifying — never tied to your content.

Purchases

Petty Premium is handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, through our payments provider (RevenueCat). We never see or store your card details. Store-provided purchase data is used only to unlock and manage your subscription.

Third-party services

We rely on a few providers to run Petty: Apple and Google (app distribution and payments), RevenueCat (subscription management), our AI provider (Coach responses), and our hosting provider. Each processes limited data only as needed to provide the app, and their own privacy terms apply to that processing.

Children’s privacy

Petty is meant for adults and older teens and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your choices & rights

Because your content lives on your device, you can delete it at any time within the app or by removing the app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA/CPRA; email us to ask about them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy and will revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
